Dear Vermont Value Vet's Valued Visitors
With easing of restrictions we are again consulting within the clinic, with limited numbers allowed in the waiting room. Ideally we ask for just one family member per pet, with exceptions for more difficult cases (eg the euthanasia consult).
Due to the "puppy pandemic" and limited staffing resources, the clinic is often at capacity. To enable us to see our client's sick animals on the day, we are often scheduling routine appointments one to two weeks in advance. We appreciate your patience with this alternation to our usual booking methods. Once we are better staffed mid-January this should revert to less waiting times.
Please note we have altered our weekend hours to the following:
Saturday - 9am - 1pm
Sunday - CLOSED
Please also be advised Vermont Value Vet will be closed between the Christmas and New Year period. We will close at 4pm on Friday 24th December and re-open 9am Tuesday 4th January.
This is in line with many surrounding clinics and will give all staff a much needed break. We thank you in advance for your understanding of this amendment.
Please call the Animal Emergency Centre on 9803 8122 when the clinic is closed. They are located at 37 Blackburn Road Mount Waverley.

Welcome to Vermont Value Vet
Vermont Value Vet is a modern purpose built Veterinary Hospital located in the suburb of Vermont, 24 km east of Melbourne CBD.
The aim of the practice is to provide affordable premium pet health care.
We do this by having a facility that has modern up-to-date equipment, run by experienced staff who endeavour to keep costs as reasonable as possible. We have a policy at the practice of only employing experienced vets, which means your pet will get the best possible care in the unfortunate event of getting ill.
We know your four-legged friend is the most important member of the family, and we are there to provide you the most up-to-date veterinary health care that is available for them.
We offer a comprehensive veterinary service for your pets, from routine consultations including preventative health care, through to routine and more complex surgical procedures. While most problems encountered can be appropriately treated at the hospital, we also have access to the best veterinary specialists in Melbourne, should your pet need specialist referral.
